What are
sponsored listings?
Capelinks allows advertisers to list their site in the Sponsored
Listings section of our search engine
and receive visitors at a cost-per-click basis, as low as $.10 per
click. Our service is much more cost effective than other advertising
methods because it is highly targeted. Instead of having your
advertisement show up randomly on different websites in hopes that people will click
on your link, visitors visit our site looking for specific content and
by designating keywords you relate to your site, the listings are only

How much does
it cost and how many visitors will I receive?
A minimum deposit of only $25 is required. You must bid at least
$.10 for each
keyword you list. Traffic to your site from CapeLinks depends on many
factors. For example, if you listed all your keywords at a dime each,
and your $25 balance was spent on clicks to your site using the keywords
you had bid a dime on, that would give you 250 keyword targeted visits

How does your
ranking system work?
All ranking of sponsored listings is based on advertiser bids. For
example: Let's say webmaster A places a bid on the keyword
"hotels" for $.10. If there are no other bids on that keyword,
webmaster A would automatically have the #1 ranking for that keyword. If you
come into the picture, and place a bid on the keyword "hotels"
for $.11 , you would then become the #1 ranking site for that keyword,
and webmaster A, provided that he is still bidding $.10 for "hotels,"
would be moved down to the #2 ranking site. The highest
bidder for a specific keyword will always receive the highest ranking in
the Sponsored Listings section for that specific keyword, and lower bidders' listings will appear under
the highest bidder in descending order of their bid amount. Back

How many
keywords am I allowed to bid on?
As many as you want. There is no limit to the amount of keywords you can
bid on. However, all keyword bids will be subject to a review of content
and relevance before they will be shown to CapeLinks visitors. Back

How exactly
is my account balance spent?
Every time a keyword targeted visitor clicks on a link to your site after searching with a
keyword you made a bid on, the bid amount for the keyword used to find
your site will be automatically deducted from your account. Back
